It wont work with my 2015 328i and iphone6 plus.

Slow and buggy

Please add Bluetooth integration with the car its faster and handy . I agree with all the bad reviews , but the question is , is the company read them ? I dont see any improvement.

In 2015 what do I need with an app I need to manually update with a thumb drive in my car just so I can manually synch up the open app every time I turn on the car. And once you go through all that? It doesnt actually do anything. I streamed pandora through my phone one time- which I could do without the app- but then the next time I turned on my car my phone wouldnt work until I did a hard restart. The only good thing I can say is that at least it operates as designed. Its actually supposed to be this lame.

First obvious issue is the separation of Pandora from BMW Connected. Im sure theres a good reason for this, but it escapes me. This should be fixed, with Pandora integrated into the BMW app. I love the web radio. Wish I hadnt bought the Sirius receiver. Look forward to new functions, although the iDrive already has so many, I wonder if I really want them. I guess email integration is the next obvious step (at least for me). UPDATE (AUG 2015) This app has not evolved. It now will start playing web radio randomly. In my office, at home, eating lunch. Have to purposely kill the app to ensure it doesnt start jamming on its own. BMW, please give this app to a qualified mechanic who can fix.

Like a fool, I upgraded my phone in hope that a newer iPhone (6) would work better with my 2012 z4 35i. Nope. It just doesnt work. Moreover, connecting by usb cable seems to screw up the Bluetooth connection until the car is shut off and restarted (disconnected from the cable). For a company that has such a strong reputation for excellence in every detail, and for as much as I paid for my car, this was a glaring disappointment. The app seems determined to piss off the customer. The software dev team just needs to be replaced.

With speed cameras, environmental concerns, the cost of gas, increasing traffic it’s increasingly rare to get a chance to enjoy driving a quality car. That makes the technology a car has all the more important. It’s a pity then that this app, like the UI in the car overall is extremely poor. Lots of redundant buttons, ill thought through menus and missing functionality. I’d be way better off with an iPad in the dashboard. The worst issue on this app is that you can’t switch it off easily. It currently switches the radio on immediately after I finish any call, whether or not I’m in the car. If I don’t go to the app and pause the stream it consumes bandwidth, raising my phone bill. My 740ix cost almost $100k. I’d have expected better.

Despite the reviews I thought Id try it anyway, worst case I can always delete it.

I guess I dont understand why I need to use the usb for this when Bluetooth is connected? I also realized that even though your phone is connected, its not continuously updating the connected drive on the phone. I tried using the location piece (when parking in a weird garage and wanting to walk back to my car). It didnt update as the trip went along so that was useless. Not sure what I really need this app for other than running my Spotify. Meh.

Works great with iPhone 6 running iOS8.1.2 and my 550i. i like it specially web radio and last mile good job BMW stay with the great work.....

Works when it wants and sometimes just disconnects phone. I guess faulty accessories arent taken into consideration when claiming the title of "The Ultimate Driving Machine". Please fix this app, whats the purpose of having Connected Drive if you cant connect? BMW, fix yourselves. "Zero Stars"

The app should be maintained more and made compatible with all the updates i wouldnt be surprised if the app still had the heart blead vulnerability

What happened to being able to post to Facebook from within the app using preselected messages that could update your location, time to destination, miles to destination, current temp, what you are listening to on the radio, etc..... When I travel, my friends and family like to be able to monitor my progress by checking my posts via the BMW Connected app. Please return Facebook!

Hardly ever works

I dont see why you have to download this app, is just waste of time...

It is amazing that there is even a group assigned to this. They should be ashamed of themselves for lying to us about what this app can do because it just doesnt work properly at all. You have had plenty of time to fix this!!

With all the money spent on my car cant they come up with a good connected device like other auto manufacturers offer.

1) cant open Spotify and Twitter in same time, so you need to work on opening two apps 2) improvements needs to been done on connectivity A lot are known too

I did the software update on my 2013 X3. I run the app in the background, run Spotify, select the source to be the phone and voila, I get sound through the USB connection. However, the communication test fails and most functionality through I drive is lost. I have looked all over the Internet and many people have that issue. It seems like this is an app problem. I hope BMW fixes this issue at some point.

Do you even care that none of this works with the 6s? It all worked with the 6, but not the 6s. I submitted a ticket to support and you didnt even bother to reply. Audible showed me that none of the apps work with the 6s! Please fix this!
